Boobs and news have caught the attention of The Washington Times with their article, "'Girl power' fights breast cancer." Stephanie Green writes the background on the first ever NewsBabes Bash for Breast Cancer that places perspective on what the event is meant to accomplish. I know plenty of people that have had to deal with breast cancer or know of someone else that is a survivor. My mother and step-mother both are survivors, I have immediate friends that are survivors or lost someone to the cancer, and now I know even more women affected by it. Its clear there is research and numerous programs to find a cure and also help the women, men and their families that must fight to survive the affects of breast cancer. If these group of News Babes can come together for a night in DC to make us aware of ways to help, then we can show up and express our support! "Together, WE can make an IMPACT."

Also in the NewsBabes news, Nightlife PR client and friend, Fezelry Jewelry, will support the event. Christine is furiously working those hands designing a unique jewelry piece to be given to one of the true VIP for the night. You will also have a chance to get your hands on her designs with the raffle! You can Fan Fezelry on Facebook and follow the animated updates of Fezelry on Twitter.
And check out the NewsBabes Bash blog love over at FitsNews.com! Beautiful photo of Angie Goff used in the post.
Will you be there? And what shade of pink will you be wearing for this nightife event? Leave your comment below.
If for some crazy reason you are unable to make it, the team is accepting donations on their Susan G. Komen Race For the Cure fundraising page. Stop by their website and pony up those dollars, think pink!
See ya there!
