Philanthropy, art and fashion around the District is what’s “in” and nonprofit, Labels For Love, springs into the new decade with MODUS Union 2010. Mary Amons, founder of Labels For Love, has given her philanthropic focus to certain charities annually. This year starts with Center for Heart, Lung and Kidney Disease at Children's National Medical Center.
As if that’s not inspiring enough, the MODUS event brings fashion from Lela Rose’s 2010 Spring Collection and an art auction featuring local DC creative personalities. Although several are chasing Mary down as she is purported to be one of the Real Housewives DC members, she manages to keep her perspective and give back to the community! She founded Labels For Love in 2006 and can be found around town with the usual socialites and specifically when there is charity involved. MODUS Union is the baby of 2010 that will drive the scene for LFL and the fashion hungry all in the name of the children.
