Shadow Room, Midtown and even Metromix DC also have iPhone applications to keep you in the know for specials at their venues. Unlike Foursquare, these apps are only on the iPhone leaving out Blackberry and Android users. What would be distinguishing for any of these nightlife outlets is to join the marketing ranks with Foursquare and combine "VIP" with specials to those that use Foursquare to check in at their venue.
