All you have to do is eat. On Thursday March 11th Dining Out For Life will work with over 150 DC area restaurants benefitting Food And Friends. The proceeds from filling your belly will go towards programs that assist children and adults with HIV/AIDS, cancer and other challenging illnesses to ensure they have the nutrition needed to sustain health. The range of benefits include 25% to 110% of total meal cost from people that participate will go to Food And Friends. You can check the list of participating restaurants and visit OpenTable to set your lunch or dinner reservations and make your dining for the day worth more than just a full tummy!

Established in 1988, Food & Friends is the area’s only organization providing specialized, nutritious meals, groceries, nutrition counseling and friendship to people living with HIV/AIDS and other life-challenging illness. Food & Friends helps family members, friends and loved ones provide care and support for our clients. Food & Friends' staff of professional chefs and Community Dietitians design meals that meet the special dietary needs of persons living with a broad range of illnesses. We fulfill our mission through a partnership between more than 11,000 active volunteers and a dedicated staff of fifty. Our confidential services are free of charge to individuals and families living throughout Washington, DC, and 14 counties of Maryland and Virginia.
