A nonprofit with a team of vibrant minds and a passion to assist DC area homeless/low-income women, N Street Village appropriately brings you “Night Sessions.” Rock it out with N Street Village and your friends at the Rock And Roll Hotel this Thursday, Jun 24th from 7:30 PM to midnight! Tickets are $35 and proceeds can help provide counseling services and other programs to get our homeless/low-income women of DC back on track.
N Street Village recently honored the DC Department of Human Services with the first N Street Village Community Ally Award. In the hot seat, or maybe its hot podium, The Village presented Dr. Johnnetta Cole to fire up the 171 4th Annual Luncheon guests with a speech to remember. The famed Dr. Cole is Director of of the Smithsonian Institute National Museum of African Art and knows how to use the art of a poetic mind! What inspiring words did she share at this event? Check out the speech on NStreetVillage.org site.

NSV is not your grandmother’s nonprofit, its YOUR nonprofit and hip to the knowledge that it takes a village to rehabilitate or rejuvenate those in less fortunate life circumstances. They bring you the power of positive women like Dr. Johnnetta Cole! This Thursday they bring you the DC nightlife action of live music by three local artists, food and cocktails. Tickets in advance available at http://nsvnightsessions.eventbrite.com/ or payable in cash only at the door.
“No, our early years do not determine the rest of our lives, but they can and often do contribute to how we move through the world.”
